University Honors Program for BBA
Students who meet University Honors Program admission requirements can complete their preferred College of Business program with the Honors Curriculum taking the place of the Loyola Core and satisfying an HONS H491 Honors Thesis. Depending on the number of Non-Business electives required by the major, Honors Curriculum requirements may slightly increase the number of credit hours required to complete the Business degree. Completion of Honors academic programs require a 3.3 GPA in the student’s Loyola cumulative curriculum.
Minor Programs
Curriculum for College of Business minors require credit hours taken as part of or in addition to the General Electives area of a student’s undergraduate program, but courses used to satisfy requirements in an academic major cannot also be used to satisfy requirements in a minor. College of Business Certificate Programs
The College of Business offers certificates in business which are designed to give undergraduate students at Loyola, in all majors, access to gaining knowledge and expertise in business in a specific area. Each certificate consists of three courses. Students must successfully complete all courses in order to apply for the certificate. Students may apply for multiple certificates. (Certificates cannot be earned in the students’ declared major or minor.) Certificates will be awarded at graduation and can be attained in the following areas:

Online Programs - Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
The College of Business participates in Loyola’s Online Programs for adult distance learners. The online Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Management major is a 120 semester credit hour academic program. Students will complete Loyola Core requirements, Business Core courses, major requirements, and non-business electives. Previous course coding and numbering is indicated in parentheses. Completion of this academic program requires a 2.0 GPA in the major curriculum, a 2.0 GPA in business courses and a 2.0 GPA in the Loyola cumulative curriculum.
